When a parked car exploded and burned on a side street in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, a nearby vinyl fence was melted into lush and sensuous curves restrained by chain link. These images examine the transformation of the fence's banal appearance into beautiful, undulating shapes sculpted by the explosion's intense heat.
This is a small selection from a very large series that I intend to keep working on as long as the fence remains.
