mission tv
Walking down Clarion Alley in San Francisco's Mission district I found a broken TV sitting in the middle of the alley. The transmission of still lifes from the streets of the Mission to a broken TV appealed to me much as the enigmatic TVs in Murakami's short story "TV People". This work was originally shown as a computer slide-show to simulate a low-tech looped video.
(Images shown on the TV were taken between 2010 and 2014.)
